Marketing Manager - Food & Beverage
We have a new requirement for Marketing Manager Food & Beverage
The brief details of which are listed below:
Level : Middle Management Cadre.
Preference : Xanthine and caffeine Product for Europe market
Reports To: Deputy General Manager - Marketing
Purpose of the Role:
- Support AFPL's business objectives by promoting and expanding market presence for assigned products in the Food & Beverage sector.
- Adhere to AFPL's values and principles while executing responsibilities.
- Implement processes that align with business needs and contribute to the achievement of sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the F&B sector.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and promotional plans for assigned products.
Sales Support & Target Achievement:
- Assist in developing sales strategies and plans to meet revenue and profitability goals for assigned products.
- Support sales targets by preparing product presentations, managing inquiries, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Support value-added services like efficient delivery timelines, order tracking, and prompt follow-ups to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Cross-Selling & Account Expansion:
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling within the existing customer base, promoting other relevant AFPL products.
- Create customer-specific plans to strengthen relationships and drive incremental sales.
Product Knowledge & Application Focus:
- Develop a thorough understanding of product specifications, applications, and benefits, especially in preservation within the F&B sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor offerings based on customer feedback and market requirements.
Sales & Market Performance Tracking:
- Monitor sales performance regularly, providing insights and reports to the Deputy General Manager.
- Analyze monthly sales data to inform strategic adjustments and ensure goals are met.
Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sourcing, production, and finance teams to align product availability and delivery with customer demands.
- Ensure all relevant teams are informed of market needs, helping to optimize inventory, production scheduling, and sales forecasting.
Customer Satisfaction & Complaint Resolution:
- Ensure timely and effective handling of customer inquiries and complaints.
- Focus on delivering exceptional service to build a positive reputation and minimize churn.
Education & Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: MBA with a focus on Sales or Marketing.
- Experience: 5+ years in sales or marketing, required in the F&B sector.
Professional Competencies:
- Solid understanding of market dynamics in the F&B sector, particularly around food preservation products.
- Proficient in business communication with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, balancing customer expectations with operational realities.
- Results-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
