Job Title: Audio Description Specialist (Subtitling & Scriptwriting)

Job Overview :- We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Audio Description Specialist with experience in subtitling and scriptwriting. In this role, you will create, edit, and ensure the accuracy of audio description scripts and subtitles for diverse media formats, including TV shows, films, web series, and online content. The ideal candidate will have a passion for accessibility and a strong understanding of how to deliver rich, engaging audio descriptions to enhance the viewing experience for individuals with visual impairments.

Skills:

• Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.

• Excellent command of English, with a strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

• Proficiency in subtitle editing software (e.g., Aegisub, Subtitle Workshop, or similar tools).

• Understanding of timing and pacing for audio descriptions and subtitles.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in audio description scriptwriting, subtitling, or captioning.

• Familiarity with audio description guidelines (e.g., WGBH, ACDA, etc.) and subtitling standards (e.g., SBS, SDH).

• Previous experience in working with a variety of content formats (film, TV, online media, etc.) is a plus
