- Our client is a leading manufacturing company looking to hire Deputy General Manager of Learning and Development to join our HR team.
- The role will be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing comprehensive learning and development strategies that align with our business goals and enhance employee capabilities across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a strategic learning and development roadmap that supports the company's objectives and employee career progression.
- Collaborate with senior management and department heads to identify training needs and prioritize learning initiatives based on business needs and employee feedback.
- Design, implement and evaluate training programs, workshops and learning modules to enhance technical skills, leadership capabilities, and overall employee effectiveness.
- Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
- Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and metrics and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
- Manage and allocate the learning and development budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effective delivery of training programs without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously enhance our training offerings and methodologies.
- Lead a team of learning and development professionals, providing mentorship, guidance and support to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in learning and development roles within the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of designing and implementing successful training programs.
- Strong understanding of learning principles, instructional design and training delivery methods.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align learning initiatives with business objectives.
- Leadership qualities with experience in managing and developing a team of learning and development professionals.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
