As a Research and Development team member, this role will involve productionalizing and maintenance of the investment and risk models, signals, and analytical platforms across several asset classes that cater to multiple Russell Investments teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong investment knowledge base, coupled with an adept understanding of coding and quantitative analysis.

Years of Experience

Suitable candidates would have 3-5-years of programming (quant modelling)/investment experience.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Solid understanding of investment principles and asset classes.

Proficient in Python and SQL (R or C# a plus)

Knowledge of data visualization and web frameworks (e.g., Django).

Experience with DevOps toolkit (GitLab, Octopus Deploy) is a plus

Strong quantitative skill set with the ability to analyze complex data.

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and high attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
