The Russell Investments Technology Application Development team is seeking a talented Application Developer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will collaborate across teams to build full-stack applications and services that meet user needs. Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and services using C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Participate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from design and architecture to development, testing, and deployment.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure solutions meet business and

user requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, including software defects and performance issues.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and documentation.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating new tools and frameworks for project suitability.

- Estimate project timelines, track progress, and identify potential risks.

- Act as a primary point of contact for users regarding development questions and concerns.

Qualifications :

- 5-15 years of software development experience (prior experience in the Finance domain a plus).

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related engineering field (advanced degree preferred).

- Strong proficiency in C#, web development (Web APIs, ASP.NET MVC), SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.

- Experience with Git version control preferred.

- Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- A passion for learning and staying current with new technologies.
