Job Description

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) Human Resources will play a critical role in shaping and implementing HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent in the luxury real estate industry. This leadership role involves overseeing the HR department, driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in human resources management, a deep understanding of talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development in high-end industries, particularly in luxury real estate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the companys goals, culture, and values, with a focus on driving performance and growth.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the company attracts and retains high-quality talent that fits the luxury real estate brand.
  • Implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace culture, including team-building initiatives, recognition programs, and career development opportunities.
  • Manage the performance management process, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback mechanisms to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, addressing any workplace issues, concerns, or disputes, and ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations, managing HR audits and implementing any required changes or updates.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring the company offers competitive packages in line with industry standards.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, leadership potential, and professional growth within the luxury real estate sector.
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and morale through surveys, feedback sessions, and one-on-one meetings, addressing concerns proactively.
  • Oversee HR systems, data management, and reporting, ensuring that employee records and metrics are accurately maintained.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define workforce planning strategies, including succession planning and talent pipeline development.
  • Manage HR budgets and ensure effective resource allocation to meet the department's objectives.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies that could enhance HR functions within the company.

Requirements

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in human resources management, with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance, particularly in the luxury real estate industry.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to address sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR practices with business goals and drive organizational change.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, performance management tools, and other HR software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits structures, as well as employee retention strategies.

Experience

  • 6-10 years of experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role, preferably in the luxury real estate sector or high-end industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing HR functions, improving employee engagement, and leading organizational change.
  • Experience in recruitment, training, employee relations, and performance management in a luxury-focused or high-performing organization.
