Job Title: Power BI Lead (Power BI & SQL)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Lead for a critical Data Modernization project. This role requires a senior professional with a deep technical background in Power BI, SQL, data warehousing, and integration tools. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in data analytics, data warehousing, and modern data integration techniques, along with a proven track record of leading teams through data modernization initiatives. Required Skills 12 + years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing, with at least 5+ years leading technical teams. Extensive experience with Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data model development. Advanced proficiency in SQL, with experience writing complex queries, creating stored procedures, and optimizing query performance in relational databases Strong background in data warehousing, including experience with star/snowflake schemas, ETL processes, and integration tools. Experience with data integration tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Talend, Informatica) and integrating data from multiple sources into a data warehouse. Deep understanding of data modeling techniques, including normalization, denormalization, and performance optimization. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Redshift) is highly desirable. Proven track record of leading and delivering data modernization projects, including migrating from legacy systems to modern analytics platforms. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
