Job Description

Job Title: Online Bidding Specialist

Location: Noida

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Online Bidding Specialist who will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities through top freelance marketplaces such as Upwork, Freelancer.com, and other similar platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of consistently generating profitable business leads and will excel at preparing compelling proposals, negotiating contract terms, and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Searching Project & Bidding:
    • Search and identify relevant projects on platforms including Upwork, Freelancer.com, and similar marketplaces based on the companys service offerings.
    • Prepare customized, winning proposals and bid details that effectively articulate the companys value proposition.
    • Ensure bids are submitted in a timely and competitive manner.
  2. Market & Industry Research:
    • Stay updated with platform trends, client requirements, and competitor offerings.
    • Continuously refine bidding strategies to align with market demands and improve conversion rates.
  3. Client Engagement & Negotiation:
    • Initiate communication with potential clients and clarify project requirements.
    • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and project deliverables to close profitable deals.
    • Maintain professional and responsive communication throughout the sales cycle to enhance client trust.
  4. Relationship Building & Retention:
    • Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
    • Follow up on submitted proposals, address client queries, and provide any additional information or documentation as needed.
  5. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
    • Track and report on bidding activities, conversion rates, and revenue generated from online platforms.
    • Provide regular performance updates and recommendations for continuous improvement to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years of proven experience in online bidding, and project closure through Upwork, Freelancer.com, or similar marketplaces.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly revenue targets through effective bidding strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to craft compelling proposals and professional correspondences.
  • Negotiation Skills: Adept at negotiating contract terms and prices to benefit both the client and the company.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously and meet submission deadlines.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating multiple platforms, understanding platform policies, and leveraging tools for research and analysis.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adjust bidding strategies based on market response, client feedback, and project specifications.
