Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails framework
- Collaborate with the team on defining project requirements, user stories, and technical specifications
- Database Design and Integration: Design and implement database structures and integrate them with Ruby on Rails applications
- Use ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) techniques to interact with databases and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
- Coding and Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
- Feature Implementation: Implement new features and functionality based on project requirements and user needs
- Collaborate with designers and product owners to translate requirements into working software
- Code Review and Collaboration: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and maintainability
- Collaborate with team members, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to drive project success
