Accounts Executive

Job Description:

-Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and budget vs. actual performance reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, journal entries, and reconciliations, to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including gathering financial data, preparing budget templates, and analyzing variances to help management make informed decisions.

- Conduct financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in revenue generation, cost control, and operational efficiency.

- Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed to ensure compliance with audit requirements and recommendations.

- Collaborate with other departments, including revenue management, sales, and operations, to provide financial insights and support decision-making to drive revenue growth and profitability.

- Stay current with accounting regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements and enhancements as needed.

- Support special projects and initiatives assigned by the finance manager or hotel management team to achieve financial objectives and strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or MBA (Finance)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting processes.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
