Quality Inspector

Role & responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform inspections.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality control plans.
• Document and report any defects or non-conformances, and collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
• Conduct random sampling and routine testing to ensure consistent quality during production.
• Maintain records of inspections and tests, providing detailed reports on findings.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-6 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or production environment
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with quality control standards such as ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in using measurement and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and documentation.
