Job Description

  • Application Development: Designing and developing customizations, enhancements, and integrations for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central based on business requirements.
  • Customization and Configuration: Modifying standard functionality, creating new functionality, and configuring Business Central to meet specific business needs.
  • Solution Deployment: Assisting in the deployment and installation of Business Central solutions, including data migration and system setup.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conducting thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure quality and functionality. Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during development or deployment.
  • Documentation: Creating technical documentation, including system design, development specifications, and user guides.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with other team members, such as functional consultants, project managers, and end-users, to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support overall project delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development, customization, and configuration. Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as C/AL (C/SIDE), AL language, .NET, and SQL.
  • ERP Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business processes, particularly in the areas of finance, sales, purchasing, inventory management, and manufacturing.
  • Development Tools: Proficiency in development tools specific to Business Central, such as Visual Studio Code with AL extension, C/SIDE, and C/AL.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Effective communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams, understand business needs, and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in the Business Central ecosystem, including new features, tools, and best practices.
