About the Job:
- Join the Audit team at Global Insurance Management (GIM), part of Roadzen Inc., a Nasdaq-listed company revolutionizing auto insurance through AI-driven solutions.
- As an Audit Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing internal and external audits for extended warranty claims, ensuring compliance with OEM standards, regulatory requirements, and insurer guidelines.
- This role requires international travel for external audits and offers the opportunity to work with a global platform serving over 41 countries.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution:
- Organize and execute internal audits for claims related to extended warranty, MBI, and GAP.
- Plan and perform external audits at retailers' premises, adhering to OEM standards and international schedules.
- Develop and update audit schedules in collaboration with the Underwriting Department.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Create, update, and issue accurate audit reports and action plans.
- Ensure compliance with insurer, reinsurer, and local regulatory requirements.
- Operate within authorized limits and obtain necessary approvals for exceptions.
Claims Quality Monitoring:
- Evaluate the quality of claims submitted by retailers to ensure alignment with OEM expectations.
- Review and validate automotive claims, assessing the cause, extent of damage, and adherence to carrier guidelines.
- Investigate and identify fraudulent claims, highlighting concerns to management for resolution.
Documentation and Training:
- Maintain up-to-date Learning and Development/Training records.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with GDPR standards and customer data protection guidelines.
KPI Achievement:
- Meet individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support team targets.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive claims auditing or a related field.
- Expertise in reviewing and validating claims for extended warranty, GAP, and other automotive insurance products.
- Strong analytical skills to assess damages, identify inconsistencies, and detect potentially fraudulent claims.
- Thorough knowledge of insurer regulations, carrier policies, and industry standards.
- Excellent reporting and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with GDPR requirements and customer data protection principles.
- Flexibility for international travel and ability to work across different cultural environments.
