RNS - Chief Technology Officer - Python/Django (5-10 yrs)

The Republic of Palau's Digital Residency Program provides the world's first Web3 ID, which supports the application of Palau ID and ID on-chain. As we continue to innovate and expand our product offerings, we are searching for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our team that has extensive management expertise and first-line coding skills. Our expectation for this position is to be able to manage the technical team in a more detailed manner, assign specific front-end and back-end tasks, adapt to the agile iterative process, and at the same time be curious about cutting-edge blockchain technology and have independent research capabilities. In addition, have the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.

Responsibilities :

1. Formulate and optimize the company's technical architecture to ensure consistency with business goals

2. Manage and supervise the technical team, promote their career development, improve their productivity and satisfaction

3. Collaborate with various departments to understand business needs, develop and implement corresponding technical solutions

4. Master multiple language environments for production, proficient in python, django, react and other technical architectures

5. Ensure compliance and security of company technology practices

Job Requirements :

1. Bachelor degree or above in computer science or related field

2. Have more than 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years of technical management experience

3. Have a deep understanding of Python programming and be familiar with its best practices

4. Full-stack engineer is preferred, familiarity with python, django and react is preferred

5. Have a keen insight into emerging technologies and be able to apply them in business practice

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to establish effective working relationships with team members and business partners at all levels

7. Have a strong sense of responsibility.
