Director - Fund Raising - Grants (15-20 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:.

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan aligned with the organization's goals.

- Donor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring timely and personalized communication.

- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising campaigns and initiatives, including major gifts, grants, and online fundraising.

- Event Coordination: Organize and manage fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and community outreach activities.

- Grant Writing: Research, write, and submit grant proposals to secure funding from foundations and government entities.

- Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze fundraising progress and donor engagement, providing regular reports to leadership.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and communications team to develop fundraising materials and promote campaigns.

- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with fundraising efforts and events.

- Developing policies: Establishing policies for collecting and safeguarding contributions.

- Disbursing funds: Coordinating the disbursement of funds.

- Evaluating programs: Evaluating advertising and promotion programs to ensure they align with fundraising efforts.

Qualifications:.

- 15 years of experience in fundraising, development, or related fields.

- Proven track record of successful fundraising initiatives and donor relationship management.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
