Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain

Role & responsibilities:-

1. Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

2. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure high levels of performance, collaboration, and compliance with company standards.

3. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing models.

4. Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.

5. Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory and production teams to optimize stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and ensure availability of critical materials.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to align sourcing strategies with product development and manufacturing needs.

7. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards while managing risks associated with the supply chain.

8. Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to assess supplier performance and supply chain efficiency, providing regular reports to management.
