Job Purpose Scope

• Assign codes for each medical procedures a patient receives

Duties Responsibilities

• Coding surgery reports 90000 range along with minor procedures done
• Need to complete all the EM cases on daily basis.
• Cross-checking the auditor s feedback on daily basis to improve the quality.
• Adhere to the clients policies.

Knowledge

• Prior experience in EM coding is a must (preferably as per CMS guidelines). Knowledge should be as per HIPAA standards.

Experience

• Science graduates with a minimum experience of 2 to 4 years in Medical coding.
• Should have coded at least 60-70 charts/day with the company expected quality standards (96% and above)

Education

• Any since background. Preferably B/ M.Pharm, BPT, alternative medicine doctor.
• Coding Certification is Mandatory (AAPC/AHIMA).
