Skills

B.E/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required

3+ years of software development experience.

Strong experience in developing software applications using JAVA, J2EE, Spring, Web framework, Active MQ & Web services

Good experience in unit testing using Junit

Good experience in ant-scripting

Strong database development skills and experience in SQL performance tuning

Exceptional knowledge and proven experience with Object Oriented design and

development

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Strong quality orientation and customer focus

Good team player with the ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced

environment

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum-inspired delivery methodology

Experience working on AWS, GitHub, Dockers

Key Areas of Responsibility

Design, develop, review and test software applications

Participate in reviews of code, design, and requirement specifications to ensure feasibility

Mentor and improve teams technical capabilities and establish best practices for software development

Work with customers to understand and fix specific problems that they face

Work with various stakeholders to ensure the right software is built

Provide regular updates on progress and delays encountered during development

Delivery against release plans: Lead development of key features and fixing bugs.

Collaboration with Support: Work closely with support, investigate and address customers issues.

Team Enablement: Mentor junior engineers and help accelerate work towards becoming a self-sustaining team
