Functional Description:
Global Credit & Model Risk Oversight, Transaction Monitoring & GRC Capabilities (CMRC) provides independent challenge and ensures that significant Credit and Model risks are properly evaluated and monitored, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risks are mitigated through the transaction monitoring program. In addition, CMRC hosts the central product organization responsible for the ongoing maintenance and modernization of GRC platforms and capabilities
This position is within the GRC Data Management Office as Manager Data Governance and Management to lead GRC Federated data office team for AEMP70 (Enterprise Data Governance Policy) compliance of GRC data. The key objective is to ensure compliance of GRC data with data related policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Executing or facilitating the execution of Data Risk management and governance requirements in Enterprise Data Policies
Close collaboration with policy owners, enterprise governance & product teams, develop in depth understanding of requirements to ensure compliance of GRC data with data related polices.
Partnering with Data Stewards, Data custodians (and/or Operational Excellence teams) to provide subject matter expertise and to provide remediation of Data Risk Issues (including OREs).
Conducting QA/validation checks, validation of Data Risk levels of GRC data by reviewing data management and risk standards, data requirements and associated rules.
Performing impact analysis, root cause analysis, and deep dive analysis on identified Data Risk issues for prioritization.
Develop communications and presentation materials for executive-level audiences and regulators.
Demonstrate deeper understanding of evolving risk management space and bring external best practices in-house.
Minimum Qualifications:
This is an exciting opportunity for a practically minded professional with excellent knowledge of Data Governance, Risk Data Management, and strong business acumen around Risk Management
Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or related field
5+ years of relevant experience in performing Data governance, Risk Data Management, Risk Management, or similar roles.
Knowledge of basic risk management principles and familiarity with internal AXP systems and processes.
Deep and broad expertise in Data Governance OR Data Strategy OR Product.
Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively and lead through influence.
