Principal DevOps Engineer

Writing automation code for provisioning and delivery pipeline for full Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) objectives.
Develop, enhance existing CI/CD solutions and enhance existing code for the automation for infrastructure/Containers, configuration automation.
Support the DevOps efforts across Deltek products
Continually evolve CI/CD framework and processes for all provisioning, pipeline build , deployment and delivery activities.
Drive cloud native framework adoption thru automation
Qualifications

1-3 years of related experience in software development and operations, including direct experience implementing full CI/CD solutions in Public and Private Cloud environments.
Good understanding of operations, CI/CD, security, and infrastructure.
Understanding of Windows, Linux OS.
Experience implementing, coding automated configuration management tools and practices preferably Ansible/Helm.
Experience implementing infrastructure provisioning tools preferably Terraform.
Experience with Docker or other container technologies (ContainerD, RKT, etc.)
Understanding of how to containerize applications, building images, maintaining container manifests, manage container images from remote repositories.
Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services, etc.), basic deployment, and management of containerized applications.
Familiarity with cloud service providers that offer Kubernetes as a service (e.g., Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Amazon EKS, Azure AKS).
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go for automation and tooling around Kubernetes.
Basic understanding of networking principles relevant to Kubernetes, including DNS, load balancing, and network policies.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools commonly used with Kubernetes (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience in deploying software applications on GCP, Oracle Cloud ((preferred) ), AWS or Azure public cloud platforms.
