Job Description
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of security engineers responsible for managing, operating, and optimizing security tools.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high availability and performance of critical security solutions.
- Develop team capabilities, foster professional growth, and manage performance reviews.
- Security Tool Management:
- Oversee the management and operations of security tools such as CrowdStrike, Cloudflare, SASE tools (Zscaler, Netskope, Paplo Alto Prisma), and Duo.
- Ensure security tools are integrated seamlessly with the existing IT infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Maintain compliance with security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Zero Trust Implementation:
- Lead initiatives to implement and enhance Zero Trust architecture and related security technologies.
- Drive the deployment of new security tools and ensure successful adoption across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT, networking, and software engineering teams to ensure a holistic approach to Zero Trust.
- Security Strategy Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior leadership to align security tools and strategies with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand security needs and ensure the security posture remains strong.
- Stay current with industry trends, threats, and new security technologies, recommending new tools as necessary.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple security tool deployment and optimization projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Establish project roadmaps, coordinate resources, and ensure that security objectives are met.
