Education: M.Tech in Structural Engineering

Job Summary:

The Senior Structural Manager will be responsible for overseeing the structural aspects of the high rise commercial building ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications. This role requires expertise in structural engineering design, construction, and project execution for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Lead and manage all structural engineering activities related to the project.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure structural integrity.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures for structural components.
• Site Supervision: Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved plans and safety regulations.
• Technical Guidance: Provide expert guidance on structural design, material selection, and construction methodologies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with project managers, government authorities, and contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate structural risks associated with construction activities.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and technical submissions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD, SAP2000, MIDAS, PLAXIS, ANSYS).
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of metro rail construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with diaphragm walls, TBM shafts, and multi-storey building structures.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial high-rise buildings, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with government authorities and public sector projects.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 standards for construction quality assurance.
