Job Description

  • Drive BD in collaboration with CMO and CEO and his team in the development of the overall Business Strategy of client s D&B business in the assigned region
  • Collaborate with leadership team to plan, prepare, implement and achieve 5-year Growth Plan
  • Enable realization of strategy and targeted order book by identifying business opportunities in line with the strategy
  • Collate Competitor and Client intelligence
  • Provide leadership to the Marketing and Sales Teams by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed in order to meet and exceed the goals of the Marketing and Sales plans for Industrial Projects
  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization.
  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the business development function.
  • Ensure healthy sales pipeline and make sure the design build team has ample assignments for delivery at all times.
  • Ensure articulation of Organization s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Organization, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement.
  • Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
  • Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
  • Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
  • Work with the leadership team to develop and maintain a strategic perspective -- based on marketplace and constituent needs and satisfaction -- in organizational direction, programand services, and decision-making.
  • Creating and driving the sales plan to make sure we have a strong and high quality order book to deliver on business goals.
  • Develop bid strategy, propose solution, in coordination with design build team
  • Assist in transition and handover of Contract to execution / operation team for execution including briefing, debriefing and instruction to client

Continuous engagement with client, client input and internal coordination to address any concerns of the client

Key Skills:
  • 20 + years of industry experience is required
  • Should have knowledge of Market related to Industrial, manufacturing for private players
  • Proven track record of Achieving Sales & Marketing Target as set out by board
  • Ability to generate qualified leads and maintain healthy pipeline of INR 2500 +cr for any FY
  • Sound leadership skills with emphasis on team building, strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of working on Primavera and MS Projects
  • High skill in MS Office applications (Excel, word, PPT)

Functional & Behavioral Competencies-
  • Strong Technical acumen - Strategic thinking on for Lead Generation
  • Should have the ability to work on fast paced, large Industrial projects
  • Should have the knowledge of Construction Industry

Skills and knowledge:
MBA/PGDM - in Business Development / sales and marketing/ construction management
B. E /ME - Civil / Mechanical/ Electrical
Should be process driven and well versed with the project/construction processes and latest technology trend in construction industry
