Job Title: IAM Engineer ( Identity and Access Management)

Location : Bangalore work from office at Bommanahall

Shift and Timing : Work Hrs Add to 2;00 PM to 10:00 PM Shift

This candidate should be an experienced IAM engineer who can operate independently and professionally in a critical banking environment. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM engineering and cloud-based solutions.
Job Duties:
This person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions tailored for a banking IT environment. The role includes ensuring secure access, optimizing performance, and supporting compliance. Job duties of an IAM Engineer:
Apply knowledge of identity federation (including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) to integrate external identity providers (e. g. , Azure AD, Okta, Active Directory) with cloud services.
Utilize IAM services in popular cloud platforms like AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), and Google Cloud IAM.
Implement and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA), SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP solutions.
Design and implement single sign-on (SSO) solutions for seamless user access.
Perform security reviews, audits, and risk assessments of IAM configurations.
Automate IAM resource management using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Automation.
Develop scripts (e. g. , Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate IAM tasks such as creating users, groups, and roles.
Troubleshoot IAM issues, including access errors and misconfigurations, to ensure secure and efficient operations.
Stay updated on the latest trends in IAM and cloud security to maintain cutting-edge practices.
Provide technical guidance and best practices to internal teams and stakeholders.
Expected Experience and Skills:
Expertise in identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
Proficiency in IAM services on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Experience with MFA, SSO, and LDAP implementations.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles (IAM, security groups, NACLs).
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Skilled in performing security audits, reviews, and risk assessments.
Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving IAM-related issues.
Banking industry experience is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.
Background and Minimum Requirements:
A Master s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or associated fields, or Bachelor s Degree or equivalent of:
o 5+ years of professional experience in IAM engineering, including cloud environments.
o Proven expertise in designing and managing complex IAM solutions.
Knowledge of formal IAM engineering methodologies and tools.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address critical IAM challenges.
