Job Description: AI/ML Lead

Location- Pune, Balewadi Highstreet

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Lead to join our team. The AI Lead will be

responsible for overseeing a team of AI engineers with 4-6 years of experience each, focusing primarily on Generative AI (GenAI) but with a broad understanding of traditional AI, ML, and Data Engineering domains. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building production AI systems along with consumption, serving, guardrails and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI engineers. Provide architectural

and technical guidance and support to ensure the teams success.

- Project Management: Oversee the development and implementation of AI projects,particularly those involving Generative AI, ensuring they are delivered on time.

- Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in traditional AI, ML and data engineering streams to design and develop innovative solutions. Improve the profanity and reduce the hallucinations of existing LLM-based applications.

- Problem Solving and Framework Selection: Guide the team in selecting appropriate AI libraries, tools, frameworks, and methodologies for different projects.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, such as product management and development (Backend, Frontend) and QA, to align AI initiatives with business goals.

- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, traditional AI and ML technologies, and integrate relevant innovations into the projects.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of AI models and solutions.

- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for AI models, processes, and workflows.

Important to have soft skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.

• Experience:8-10 years of experience in AI/ML, with a minimum of 3 years in a technical lead role.

• 2 years of minimum experience in Generative AI domain.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and scikit-learn.

• Experience with Generative AI technologies and models.

• Expertise in MLOps tools and practices, such as Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and

• cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Ability to design Application Architecture

• Experience in deploying AI models in large-scale production environments.

• Familiarity with data engineering practices.

• Proven track record of leading successful AI projects from conception to deployment.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proved experience of leading AI/ML team in production environments

• Excellent knowledge on evaluation and performance tracking mechanisms of Generative and Traditional AI/ML.

• Experience with containerization (Docker & Kubernetes)

• Prompt engineering including tokenization, injection attacks, templatization, multi-level prompting and prompt chaining.
