Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Hadoop Developer to develop and deliver code for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to time, quality, and cost standards. The role involves interacting with business stakeholders and designers to understand requirements and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Interact with business stakeholders and designers to understand business requirements.

- Develop and implement Hadoop solutions.

- Load data from disparate data sets.

- Design, build, install, configure, and support Hadoop systems.

- Transform data using Spark and Scala.

- Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed designs.

- Analyze vast data stores and uncover insights.

- Maintain security and data privacy.

- Create scalable and high-performance web services for data tracking.

- Conduct high-speed querying.

- Manage and deploy HBase.

- Test prototypes and oversee handover to operational teams.

- Propose best practices and standards.

Qualifications and Skills :

- 5+ years of experience with Hadoop development and implementation.

- Knowledge of Teradata (preferred).

- Proficiency in IntelliJ IDEA, AutoSys, WinSCP, Putty, and GitHub.

- Strong skills in Spark and Scala for data transformation.

- Ability to derive insights from large data stores.

- Understanding of security and data privacy practices.

- Experience with scalable web services and high-speed querying.

- Proficiency in managing HBase.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
