Test Architect

We are currently looking for a Test Architect to join our Quality Engineering team in Pune. This position will be a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week in our office located in Amar Tech Park.

Essential Functions:

• Participate in spring and project planning and execute on project committments
• Develop test strategies and test suites using various testing methodologies and tools available
• Utilize understanding of application technical architecture, personas, configuration in order to draft test plan and test schedule.
• Suggest test automation tools with justification to management, carry out POCs as needed and coordinate with technical stakeholders.
• Identify impacted areas for testing and design impact driven test plan
• Develop CICD to schedule and report functional and performance test results
• Enhance automation framework, create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
• Responsible for Automation coverage Regression and In-sprint for the product supported and
• integrating it with CI/CD pipeline enabling Continuous Testing
• Work closely with other QA analysts, developers, vendors and integration partners to ensure
• that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability,
• performance and quality
• Monitor, manage, and report bugs using customized bug tracking tools industry standard tools
• such as JIRA
• Participates in design and implementation of QA test strategies and protocol for testing
• software releases

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree required
• 12+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance covering the aspects of Test Automation, performance testing and security testing Must have hands-on experience with the following technologies - Java, Selenium, Appium, SQL, JSON, MYSQL, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
• Must have strong foundation on web protocols and hands-on experience on API/Services testing, using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman etc.
• Ability to understand, implement and enhance latest Test automation frameworks- using any 2 of the mentioned test automation tools: Webdriver.io, Cypress.io, Selenium-Protractor, Cucumber, or equivalent required
• Experience with cross browser testing tools such as Lambdatest, SauceLabs, or Browerstack required
• Demonstrated experience in database SQL, and able to write basic SQL to verify data in the database required
• Must have hands-on experience working in a Cloud environment- AWS or any other cloud
• environments
• Exceptional Problem Solving and interpersonal skills, communication skills (written and verbal), and attention to detail required
• Ability to understand application technical architecture, personas, configuration and able to draft test plan and test schedule required
• Experience in understanding code coverage, exposure to Nocode/Less code automation tools required
