Diabetes Minimed India - Prin IT Technologist - Principal Salesforce Test Engineer will act as a validation and quality expert; review the functionality of the existing systems. Conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design; lead test execution of Salesforce and Non-Salesforce applications. This position requires completing all steps of the SDVLC documentation including interpretation of the functional requirements and confirming requirements with functional business analyst, write test plans, executing, and documenting of system integration testing. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for all phases of functional and regression testing including development and execution of automated scripts.
A Day in the Life:
- Create & update appropriate documentation
- Utilize applicable tools to facilitate adequate systems testing, monitoring & troubleshooting
- Contribute to identify and implement continuous improvement concepts to increase efficiency and maximize value to clients
- Maintain broad understanding of current testing software technologies
- Work independently to estimate, design, and deliver solutions.
- Assist in unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to multi-task assignments and exercise judgment regarding escalations to senior team members or vendor.
- Maintain a productive relationship with Stakeholders, Process Owners, Technical and Functional Peers through effective communications and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain a strong practical understanding of technologies currently deployed within the department.
Must-Have: Minimum Requirements:
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience aligning QE process with Agile/Scrum methodology, sprint planning, and execution.
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and eCommerce Cloud.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the stability and quality of the solutions.
- Identify, log, and track defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Ensure that all Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations meet the specified requirements and quality standards.
- Verify data integrity and perform data validation testing across various Salesforce Clouds.
- Conduct end-to-end testing Salesforce processes and workflows, including custom Apex and Visualforce components.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including daily stand-ups, spring planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
- Utilize Salesforce testing tools such as Salesforce Inspector, Data Loader, and Workbench for testing and data management.
- Work with onsite/offshore SME S to create automated test cases using Selenium web framework.
- Create and execute automated and manual test cases as required via Microfocus ALM.
- Create defects in JIRA and Microfocus ALM.
- Create validation and compliance documents to include test plan and test summary reports.
- Create and maintain regression test scripts for Salesforce and determine Salesforce regression.
- Validates testing for SOX & GXP compliances and FDA regulatory to include Title 21 CFR Part 11, FDA CFR Part 820.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with creating automation test scripts using Selenium, Agile/Scrum, DevOps.
- Salesforce Administration certification or 5+ years of experience testing Salesforce applications.
- Provides HP ALM administration and Reporting
