Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of proven experience in backend development, with a strong emphasis on PHP. Experience with WordPress is considered a significant advantage. We re looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
The candidate must be passionate about their work, demonstrate a high level of technical competence, and possess the drive to continuously learn and improve.
Required experience for the job :
- Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in PHP web development, with hands-on expertise in MVC, and familiarity with WordPress is considered advantageous.
- You must have experience working on handling at least 2 big scale projects which involves working on a high traffic website or a complex web application.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient, secure, and scalable backend solutions using PHP, MySQL, jQuery, AJAX, HTML/CSS, and other relevant open-source web technologies/packages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features for custom business applications and high-traffic websites/web applications.
- Optimize existing codebase to improve performance and maintainability, ensuring seamless operation of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely resolution to maintain the integrity of projects.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in backend development to continuously enhance skills and contribute to project success.
- Interact with clients to understand their requirements and concerns, providing regular updates and managing module delivery to meet deadlines.
- Deploy applications on live or staging servers, ensuring smooth transition and functionality.
- Report daily work schedule, progress, and milestones to the manager, actively
- addressing client feedback and resolving issues to ensure project satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with WordPress development is highly desirable.
- Must have strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for software development and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
