Job Description
- Patient care: Assessing and treating patients in the ICU, including those with medical emergencies
- Coordinating care: Coordinating the care provided by other medical teams for ICU patients
- Educating junior registrars: Supervising and educating junior registrars
- Clinical trials: Assessing, recruiting, and obtaining consent from patients involved in clinical trials
- On-call responsibilities: Having on-call responsibilities under the supervision of the on-call ICU specialist
- Non-clinical duties: Performing non-clinical duties under the supervision of the ICU specialist team
- Assisting with procedures: Assisting with ICU procedures like CPR, ACLS, central line, endotracheal intubations, and management of ventilators
