Executive logistics

Role & responsibilities:

1. Fleet Operations Management
   
• Ensure smooth coordination and management of the fleet for efficient operations.
• Track vehicle movements and ensure timely deliveries to consignees.
• Handle drivers effectively, including task allocation and issue resolution.
2. Logistics Coordination
   
• Collaborate with the sales team to align logistics with client requirements.
• Manage consignees' delivery preferences with a flexible approach.
• Handle vendor (transporter) coordination to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
3. Administrative and Technical Skills
   
• Prepare daily MIS reports and maintain accurate records of fleet operations.
• Use Microsoft Excel proficiently for tracking, analysis, and reporting.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 and OneDrive for document management and collaboration.
• Efficiently manage email correspondence related to logistics operations.
4. Communication and Problem Solving
   
• Exhibit excellent communication skills for liaising with team members, vendors, and clients.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
5. Flexibility
   
• Be accessible via laptop and phone, even on weekly off days, for critical updates.
• Adapt to flexible office timings based on operational needs.
6. Geographical Knowledge
   
• Have a strong understanding of geography to optimize routes and manage fleet operations efficiently.
