About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team on a contractual basis . As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and availability for analytics and business operations. If you have a passion for data and a knack for problem-solving, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines.
- Develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Manage and optimize data storage solutions (e.g., data warehouses, lakes).
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in SQL , Python , or Scala for data manipulation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) .
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop , Spark , or Kafka .
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for data workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with real-time data streaming and processing.
- Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of data governance and GDPR compliance.
