PHP Developer (Codeigniter Expert)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with expertise in the CodeIgniter framework to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PHP, CodeIgniter, and database management, with the ability to develop, enhance, and maintain web applications efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain dynamic, secure, and scalable web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
2. Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to integrate user-facing components with server-side logic.
3. Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following coding standards.
4. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing web applications.
5. Design and implement database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using MySQL.
6. Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways as needed.
7. Ensure applications adhere to security and data protection standards.
8. Work closely with project managers to understand requirements and deliver projects on time.
9. Conduct performance testing and deploy updates as necessary.
10. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Strong proficiency in PHP and CodeIgniter framework.
2. Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
3. Proficient in MySQL or other relational databases.
4. Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
5. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
6. Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
7. Knowledge of web security practices and performance optimization techniques.
