Assistant Finance Manager

2+ years Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr.Executive/AM - Finance to oversee critical aspects of financial operations, including Fixed Assets Management, Employee Reimbursements, TDS Payment and Filings, Accounts Payable, SOX Compliance and Audit Coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial regulations, and a proven ability to ensure compliance with internal controls

Key Responsibilities:

Fixed Assets Management:

• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring proper capitalization and depreciation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies related to fixed assets.

Employee Reimbursement:

• Manage employee reimbursement claims, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Review and approve reimbursement requests within established limits.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting on employee expenses.

TDS Payment and Filings:

• Ensure accurate calculation, deduction, and timely payment of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS).
• Prepare and file TDS returns as per regulatory timelines.
• Reconcile TDS accounts and resolve any discrepancies with tax authorities.

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Monitor payment schedules to maintain cash flow and vendor relationships.
• Implement process improvements to streamline AP operations.

SOX Compliance:

• Conduct periodic reviews and testing to ensure SOX compliance.
• Identify and address control deficiencies and process gaps.

Audit Coordination:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors.
• Prepare and provide required documentation for audits, including statutory, internal, and SOX audits.
• Address audit observations and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: CA Inter/CMA with 2+years or M.Com/MBA with 4+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian tax laws (TDS, GST), accounting principles, and SOX requirements.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Compliance & Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to handle compliance and maintain high levels of accuracy.
