Android Application Developer - Java/Kotlin (3-5 yrs)

Role & Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android platforms

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using React Native Java/Kotlin

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Ideal Candidate

- 3+ years of experience in Android app development

- Strong proficiency in React Native framework

- Solid understanding of core Android development using Java and/or Kotlin

- Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries

- Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines

- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

- Familiarity with continuous integration
