Full Stack Engineer - Laravel/Vue.js (5-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong background in Laravel, SQL, Vue.js, and Redis to lead the development of a digital healthcare platform for a Dubai-based client.

As the tech lead, you'll oversee an external development team, ensure code quality, resolve technical debt, and drive the development of new features.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the external development team, ensuring best practices in coding and development processes.

- Conduct a comprehensive knowledge transfer of the existing code base and ensure high standards moving forward.

- Integrate APIs seamlessly across multiple platforms and maintain strong security standards.

- Oversee the resolution of technical debt and establish robust coding standards for continuous improvement.

- Drive the development of new features and enhancements for the digital healthcare platform.

- Optimize existing features and services for performance, scalability, and security.

- Ensure the implementation of secure and scalable solutions across the stack.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them as needed to advance the platform.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in software project leadership.

- Strong proficiency in Laravel, SQL, Vue.js, and Redis.

- Proven track record of creating and maintaining high-quality software bases.

- Experience in Azure is required, with a preference for cloud computing within healthcare contexts.

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive frontend development.

- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.

- Experience with testing frameworks (such as PHPUnit) and debugging tools.

- Strong understanding of version control systems like Git.

- Knowledge of security best practices, particularly for handling sensitive healthcare data.

- Skills in performance optimization, profiling, and caching strategies.

- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
