Executive Founders Office
Overview:
As a key member of the FounderOffice at ReCircle, you will be entrusted with a highly influential role that
directly supports the Founder and Executive Team in executing strategic
initiatives. Your primary focus will encompass critical areas such as investor
relations , fundraising efforts , and financial reporting ,
where your contributions will significantly shape the organizations
trajectory.
In this capacity, you will act as a
trusted advisor, fostering clear and efficient communication between
stakeholders and ensuring the seamless execution of operational tasks.
Responsibilities:
1. Investor Relations:
Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with both
existing and potential investors, fostering trust and aligning their interests
with the companys vision and goals.
Prepare comprehensive and professional investor updates,
financial reports, and presentations to effectively communicate the companyprogress, performance, and strategic direction.
Organize and manage investor meetings, calls, and
follow-ups, ensuring seamless scheduling and facilitating meaningful
engagements.
Respond to investor inquiries with accurate, timely, and
strategic information, enhancing transparency and confidence in the companyoperations.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide
insights that can inform investor communications and highlight the companys
positioning.
Work closely with the fundraising team to prepare for
investor pitches and secure commitments, ensuring alignment with broader
financial and strategic goals.
2. Fundraising:
Create persuasive pitch decks, detailed financial models,
and investor presentations that effectively articulate the companyvision,
strategy, and growth potential.
Coordinate the due diligence process by compiling and
presenting essential documents and engaging with potential investors to address
their inquiries.
Maintain a robust system to track funding opportunities,
timelines, investor meetings, and commitments, ensuring seamless management of
the process.
Work closely with the Founder and leadership team to align
fundraising strategies with the companylong-term objectives and ensure
consistent messaging.
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential investors,
cultivating relationships to create opportunities for future funding rounds.
Organize and execute investor-facing events such as
roadshows, networking sessions, or demo days to showcase the companyprogress
and opportunities.
Conduct market research to identify potential funding
sources, trends in the investor ecosystem, and insights that can shape
effective fundraising strategies.
Assist in coordinating with legal and financial advisors to
ensure that all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulations and
contractual obligations.
3. Financial Reporting:
Assist in creating and analysing monthly, quarterly, and
annual financial statements, ensuring they reflect the companyfinancial
health and compliance with accounting standards.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and
timely financial reporting, addressing discrepancies and implementing
improvements when necessary.
Help prepare detailed financial projections, forecasts, and
budgets that support strategic decision-making and align with organizational
goals.
Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs),
providing actionable insights to leadership on the companyfinancial
performance and areas for improvement.
Assist in preparing documentation and data for internal and
external audits, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory
requirements.
Conduct cost analysis to identify inefficiencies and
recommend strategies for optimizing expenses and improving profitability.
Partner with various teams to integrate financial insights
into operational planning, ensuring alignment across departments.
4. Executive Support:
Provide general support to the Founder in managing
day-to-day tasks, projects, and operations.
Assist in preparing for board meetings, presentations, and strategic
discussions.
Coordinate internal and external communications for the
Founder and the leadership team.
Help manage calendars, schedules, and prioritize key tasks
and events.
5. Ad-Hoc Tasks:
Assist with special projects as needed to support company
growth and operational excellence.
Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring seamless
coordination of resources, adherence to timelines, and resolution of roadblocks
to meet project go
Drive the execution of initiatives by coordinating with
cross-departmental teams, maintaining momentum, and ensuring deliverables align
with organizational standards and expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelordegree in Finance, Business
Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in investor relations,
fundraising, finance, or related roles, ideally in a startup or high-growth
environment.
Strong understanding of financial principles and
experience with financial reporting and modelling.
Excellent communication, organizational, and
interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks,
and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
and familiarity with financial software tools.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful
problem solver.
