Principal Architect - Salesforce (10-22 yrs)

Job Description :

The Principal Engineer is responsible for overseeing the technical implementation of the overall Business Systems ecosystem, comprising Salesforce.com (SFDC) and AWS cloud systems. This includes system configuration, ongoing testing and maintenance, new feature implementation, technical design, solution documentation, and release management. This role collaborates with other Salesforce and Cloud admins and developers to meet business requirements in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

This role will actively participate in the multi-year implementation and expansion of the SFDC platforms at Bluebeam, serving as the applications architect for Salesforce, AWS Systems and CRM-related applications.

Responsibilities include understanding and communicating functionality, identifying risks, managing change, and designing solutions that are efficient, scalable, and cost-effective. The Principal Engineer will also partner with ERP and CRM stakeholders to analyse, understand, and improve finance/sales operations, increasing employee productivity and end-user effectiveness.

Responsibilities :

- Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform : Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications and integrate with other Business Systems Services.

- Create timelines and team development goals : Collaborate with team members to set objectives and milestones.

- Troubleshoot and provide solutions for highly complex problems : Analyze issues and develop effective solutions.

- Write documentation and provide technical training : Create detailed documentation and conduct training sessions for Salesforce Engineers.

- Maintain the security and integrity of application software : Ensure all systems meet security standards.

- Embrace new technology stacks : Incorporate new technology solutions and collaborate with multiple vendors in the SFDC ecosystem.

- Develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform : Work on Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, SOQL queries, components, and configurations.

- Integrate data technologies : Implement data integration technologies that import/export data with Salesforce.

- Develop reports and dashboards : Create insightful reports and dashboards within Salesforce.

- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders : Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

- Manage multiple priorities : Balance various projects and deadlines efficiently

- Research and resolve production system issues : Dive deep to address and solve user problems.

- Establish best practices : Set up standards for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

- Support change control : Manage user requests and approvals, and promote changes to production environments.

Shortlist Requirement :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant software engineering experience.

- 10+ years : Salesforce and Cloud architecture experience.

- 7+ years : CPQ Experience, Cloud, or eCommerce experience.

- 7+ years : Integrating with Salesforce.

- 7+ years : Source Code management experience (GitLab, BitBucket, Jenkins, SFDX preferred).

- Candidates with below certifications are given with preference.

- Salesforce Administrator Certification.

- Salesforce Platform Developer 2 Certification.

- Salesforce Technical Architect (Preferred).

- Salesforce Application Architect.

- Salesforce Systems Architect.

- AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
