We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Architect with 10-15 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, proficiency in cloud, and hands-on experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, Kafka, and modern debugging tools . This role requires a team leader who is hardworking, dedicated, and willing to take ownership of complex systems and very large datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Design: Develop and maintain scalable data architecture, ensuring efficient data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing to support business needs.
• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and deploy advanced, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing using cutting edge technologies.
• Data Governance and Security: Ensure data security, compliance, and data quality standards are upheld across data systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and ensure successful project delivery.
• Data Processing and Analysis: Utilize tools like Apache Spark and Flink to efficiently process and analyze large datasets.
• Real-Time Data Solutions: Implement real-time data processing using Kafka for high-performance, interactive data applications.
• System Integration: Oversee integration best practices for data systems within the organizations broader technology ecosystem.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• PST Support: Offer timely support during PST hours to align with global team operations.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 8-20 years of professional experience in data architecture, data engineering, and related fields.

Technical Skills

• Cloud Services: Proficiency in any of the cloud technology with experience designing secure, scalable cloud data architectures.
• SQL: Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Programming: Expertise in Python, along with experience in data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Big Data Tools: Proficiency in Apache Spark and Apache Flink for big data processing.
• Real-Time Data Processing: Experience with Kafka for streaming and real-time data applications.
• Debugging: Familiarity with modern debugging tools for troubleshooting and optimizing code.

Preferred Skills

• Enterprise Search: Knowledge of Apache Solr for enterprise search and indexing solutions.
• DevOps: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of self-motivation.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with evolving technologies and multiple project responsibilities.
• Ecommerce: Knowledge of Ecommerce is preferred
