Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms like Azure and experience in automation, security, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments on Linux.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to enhance cloud solutions.
• Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing (Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance.
• Experience in CI/CD tools (GitHub GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with database services like MySQL, Mongo DB, etc.
• Cloud certifications in Azure Administrator is a plus.
