Laboratory Supervisor cum Data Analyst

Job description:

Post: Laboratory Supervisor cum Data Analyst.

Candidate: Male/female

Qualification: B.Sc/M.Sc (Chemistry). B.Tech (Chemical/Geology).

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in technical and supervisory cadre in laboratory .
• Conversant with coal analysis (Proximate and Ultimate analysis, Calorific value according IS and

ASTM methods) is preferred , NABL accredited lab.

• Analytical mindset about Lab result and its consequences is preferred
• Acquaintance and working knowledge of ISO 17025 NABL and LMS is required
• Familiarity Efficiency inwith the computer and good communication skills.

Responsibility:

Primary responsibilities:

• Overall understanding of laboratory management and to ensure effective

implementation of the lab policies and procedures .

• understanding of test method and procedures for its appropriacy to ensure labs performance

including accuracy and precisions of test parameters

• Ensure that established acceptance level of analytical performance and these levels are

maintained throughout testing process

• Noting of deviations of technical or non-technical errors with root cause and its accountabilities
• analysis of data as per stakeholders need
• analysis of re-test results with its reason and end outcome
• identification training needs to promote accuracy, proficiency and performance of lab
• Support for appropriate communication with all stakeholders .
• Reporting of test results and laboratory activity to top management/head office as required.
• Management/ supervision of laboratory for day-to-day work according to NABL norms.
• To

- evaluate and mitigate technical risks including confidentiality and integrity.

- identify gaps and take initiative to bridge the gaps including organizing technical training

- evaluate project performance.

- adhere for compliance requirements.

- work independently without influencing impartial behavior.
