Finance Controller (15-20 yrs)

Title: Finance Controller

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Controller to lead Finance function.

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the functions and activities and will maintain system of policies, procedures and processes, as well as providing strategic financial insights to support the organization's growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial management principles, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.

Responsibilities:

- This role is responsible for managing budgeting, recording, reporting, making recommendations and negotiating with concerned agencies and planning financial business strategies with the aim of attaining company's financial objectives

- Ensure compliance of accounting, audit, tax as per the laid down SOP

- Conduct periodic balance sheet reconciliation for review and take appropriate action in case of inconsistencies if any

- Monitor lease agreements and ensure compliance of lease Agreements

- Ensure reporting of variance in the approved budget

- Plan and prepare annual budgets, including operating and capital expenditure budgets.

- Ensure the reporting of accurate monthly / quarterly financial results within the set timelines

- Ensure approved annual budget is adhered to at all times.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements

- Ensuring the integrity of the general ledger

- Ensure efficient and appropriate allocation of resources

- Ensure optimum use of the Company's cash flow

- Provide analysis and financial implications of implementation of business projects

- Ensure that the debtors comply with contract terms and conditions and take appropriate action in case of non-compliance

- Ensure all company assets are accurately accounted for as per the laid down SOP

- Expedite timely preparation of Company's banking transactions and compliance of company expenditure as per the laid down SOP

Requirements:

- Masters and CA

- 15 + years of experience in Finance Function of which at least 3 years in a leadership role

- Proficient with Ind AS, Taxation, Banking / RBI rules, regulations and compliance requirements

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset
