Assistant Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will oversee operations related to the management of US-based real estate properties managed by Two Rivers Development. This role involves managing leasing, property maintenance, tenant turnovers, and evictions, while also leading the existing team. With the increasing complexity of local housing laws and the growth of the clients real estate portfolio, this position ensures operational excellence and compliance. The role demands proactive communication, analytical oversight, and strategic process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze property accounting and finance reports.
• Identify trends, risks, and areas of improvement in property performance.
• Provide proactive updates to clients on property status during lease-up, leasing, and turnover phases.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with the client on escalations and process improvements.
• Manage and support the existing team in handling property maintenance requests.
• Address escalations and ensure resolution of critical issues.
• Understand the properties lease cycle and housing programs.
• Understand the processes that exist, make recommendations
• Develop a training program from existing materials to have a formalized onboarding process

Required Qualifications:

Educational:

• Bachelor Degree in: Finance / Economics / MBA / Engineering / Accounting

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable with internal collaboration and external communication via phone calls
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
