AS400 Administrator

Job Responsibilities:
Monitor, track, and analyze backup and system health check reports from vendors.
Perform AS400 system health checks to ensure all servers are operational.
Support business activities by leveraging AS400 and infrastructure expertise to improve delivery quality.
Manage customer requirements to deliver timely and high-quality results.
Ensure continuous improvement in service quality, processes, and governance.
Collaborate with SG GDI CTO Infra services, business, and informatics teams, acting as a facilitator for incidents, escalations, changes, problems, RCA, GoLive, performance management, capacity management, security, DRP tests, backups, and switches.
Measure and compare results to specified requirements.
Track changes, incidents, and critical issues affecting SG GDI CTO Infra management and business.
Provide clear written and oral communication and present ideas effectively to address project requirements.
Collaborate with Project Managers during major project phases to ensure a smooth production transition.
Participate in planning and executing AS400 OS upgrades, hardware migrations, QUICKEDD upgrades, and DR activities.
Work with the team to resolve AS400 system issues and implement new changes without affecting delivery schedules.
