Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage hotel billing processes, including invoicing, reconciliation, and payment tracking.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, including GST, VAT, and TDS.
• Handle daily accounting operations, such as journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Support in the preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, VAT, TDS) within deadlines.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws.
• Coordinate with external auditors, as needed, to support the audit process.
• Respond to inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding billing and tax-related matters.
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on hotel billing or in Retail industries.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with GST, VAT, and TDS compliance and filing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local tax laws and hotel billing regulations.
