Radiation Safety Officer - Pondicherry

Experience : 3 to 5 years

Location : Puducherry

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Creating, distributing, implementing, and maintaining up-to-date written operating and emergency procedures.
• Overseeing the safe operation of radiation protection programs and ensuring that all licensed activities comply with regulations.
• Performing routine measurements and analysis of radiation levels in controlled areas and maintaining records of the result.
• Investigating any situations that could lead to potential exposures.
• Establishing, maintaining, enforcing, and controlling the company's radiation safety program.
• Ensuring that all workers wear a dosimeter to monitor occupational radiation exposure.
• Authorizing and approving operators before they can remove gauges from storage.
• Serving as the contact person for the regulatory agency.

Desired Profile:

• Candidate with Bachelor's degree and certified in Level 2 @ Radiography Testing for X-Ray machine operations is preferred.
