Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Experience / Skills Required

• Automation is must for all infra-activity.
• In depth knowledge in both AWS, Azure environment,
• Implementing the Cloud monitoring tools, setting alert mechanism
• 2+ years hands-on Systems Administration of Windows server 2019,2016,2012 r2, Red hat Linux, Amazon Linux, Centos Windows and/or Linux, networking and troubleshooting experience
• Should be familiar with Cloud tools like CLI , PowerShell , Lambda.
• Expertise in Identity and access management for providing access to Users and assigning roles to the servers.
• Experience in Load balancing and Auto-scaling.
• 2+ years experience with network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Routing, BGP , IPSEC tunnels and firewalls.
• Must have hands on experience in handling servers more than 200 server at once.
• Experience in building the tunnel between (IPSEC, P2S, AWS VPN) and on prem Firewall.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Problem solving skills, ability to analyse, resolve complex infrastructure issue and resource.
• Certification on AWS/Azure architecture desirable

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designing and deploying scalable, available, fault-tolerant and reliable application on cloud.
• Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as EC2, S3 etc.) and tools;
• Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc
• Design the AWS/Azure network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
• Design the HA / DR strategies
• Set up a monitoring stack.
• Set up process, services and tools around cloud
• Define service capacity planning strategies.
• Leverage appropriate AWS services
• Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls
• Migrate our infrastructure from on prem to cloud with minimal downtime to a highly available, scalable one.
• Migrating complex, multi-tier applications on cloud platform
• Implementing cost-control strategies.
• Working closely with clients, consulting professionals, designs , implement strategies to help enhance business performance.
• Understanding of Backup and lifecycle management.
• A Deep grasp in Active directory and domain controller, assigning Group policy and user authentication.
• Create and renew of SSL certificate.
• Able to work as a team and command to learn new thing and utilizing their knowledge by automating the day to day activities.
• Control the flow mechanism and data flow to and from the servers.
• Capable to migrate on-premises workload to service providers.
• Understand the current application infrastructure and workloads
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Understand and document technical requirements from clients
• Schedule automated tasks as well as team member routine.
