Role : Business Analyst

The Role Description :

A Rakuten Symphony Digital Experience Business Analyst is responsible for understanding what customers need and expect from the product. Analysts use methods like competitive analysis, market research, observations, interviews, and surveys to understand users' unique perspectives. Findings from the studies can inform the design decisions each step of the way. Business Analyst owns business analysis, workflow design, process maps, stakeholder interview documentation and communication to product development team at each stage from ideation to launch.

Key Skills :

- Enterprise Fixed/Mobile Line products and domain.

- Business analyst and delivery management.

- Automation of Enterprise fixed/mobile product delivery.

- BSS Service order management for 3G/4G/5G telcos.

- CFS-RFS mapping, Order decomposition and Orchestration, Workflows

- Number and inventory management, SIM management, MSISDN lifecycle, MNP

- Minimum of 3-5 years of Business Analyst or Product management experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong awareness of technology trends and their potential influence.

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

- Ability to use data visualization tools (e.g. Domo, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools).

- Clear understanding of observability concepts, KPI calculation, monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities :

- Analyse consumer needs, customer requirements, customer experience and market trends to continuously provide insights for outstanding products.

- Be the voice of the customer and the subject-matter expert for the group

- Develop and publish Product Requirements / Functional/ Non Functional User Stories, Requirement

Specifications for products including detailed feature descriptions and customer usage scenarios.

- Build, manage and maintain product life cycles & roadmaps

- Work with Engineering, Design, and QA teams to clarify customer requirements to drive product from initial concept through development and testing, and deliver a timely and quality release.

- Creating data and process workflows during the need.

- Coordinate & conduct functional and technical grooming sessions with the team.

- Track and analyse testing results from all testing and identify required remediation and work with product teams to remediate.

- Summarize weekly status in form of status reports to the leadership and customers.

- Clearly document product and service requirements for both engineering, and delivery teams to build new capabilities.

- Collaborate with engineering and service delivery teams to prioritize development activities, make trade-offs, and plan actions.

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor BS/BA degree technical field preferred
