Import and Export Manager - Oleo Chemicals

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Import and Export Specialist to manage and grow our global trade operations in oleo chemicals and acid oil. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international trade, logistics, and sales, with a proven track record of establishing import/export contacts and achieving sales targets. This role is critical to our expansion into global markets and requires expertise in both procurement and export sales.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and manage import/export relationships with suppliers, distributors, and clients for oleo chemicals and acid oil.
• Handle procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating contracts with international suppliers.
• Oversee logistics operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Identify potential export markets, generate leads, and establish new sales channels globally.
• Meet or exceed export sales targets by building strong client relationships and expanding market reach.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement and sales strategies with business goals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to inform decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in import/export operations within the oleo chemicals or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, logistics processes, and documentation requirements.
• Proven ability to establish supplier networks and export channels in global markets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
