Manager - Field Operations

Position/Role Overview:

As a Manager-Field Operations you need to be highly motivated and organized to oversee field operations for all thematics and have a strong background in project management and fieldwork, with a passion for making a positive impact in communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Operations Management:

• Oversee all aspects of field operations, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective deployment of resources in the field.
• Coordinate with program managers and other stakeholders to align field activities with organizational goals.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and supervise field staff, including CRPs
• Provide leadership and guidance to the field team, ensuring high performance and adherence to protocols.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes innovation and continuous improvement.

Project Planning and Execution:

• Lead the planning and implementation of field projects and initiatives.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and oversee their execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions to ensure successful outcomes.

Community Engagement:

• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with community members to identify needs, priorities, and opportunities for intervention.
• Ensure that field activities are culturally sensitive, inclusive, and responsive to community feedback.

Data Collection and Reporting:

• Develop data collection protocols and tools to measure project impact and outcomes.
• Coordinate data collection efforts in the field, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
• Prepare regular reports and updates on field activities, progress, and achievements.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of program delivery.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate field activities to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

Logistics and Resource Management:

• Manage logistics and resources for field operations, including transportation, equipment, and supplies.
• Develop and manage budgets for field projects, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Procure necessary resources and services in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
